I painted Big Apple Al the Gorilla at a New York themed party recently.

The story of Big Apple Al the Gorilla

Al was born on an apple farm in the countryside. His family ran a successful apple themed business where they grew apples picked them, packaged them, distributed them and sold them. They owned the whole supply chain and although the logistics was large they had a good biz on their hands. They owned and operated a chain of apple themed shops called Big Delicious Apple. They not only sold fresh apples but all kinds of apple themed food and apple themed non food products. To give you an idea they sold food like apple pie and stewed apple and apple flavoured icecream and they also sold non food products like apple shaped backpacks and even apple shaped sunglasses and many more apple type products than you could even think of or I can think of right now. When Big Apple Al was a bit older he was in charge of expanding the business to America and he opened the first U.S. shop in New York because the city was also known as the ‘Big Apple’ and it seemed as good a place as any. It was quite successful and the rest, as they say, is history. The End

Cheers to @eatdrinkcollective for having me along.
