Have a fun weekend everybody, Party Duck sure will be.
An Ode to Party Duck

There was a duck and he was a grumpy dude
Some people called him evil duck others called him rudeHe ruled the Wollongong Uni lawn with an iron feather
His methods were extremely brutal but also kind of clever

He terrorised all the students and teachers alike
If he saw you with a sandwich he’d chase you off and then take a bite

Swimming in the duck pond one day he ran out of luck
He was ambushed by the Death Feather gang and stabbed by another duck

That day he may have died a violent death but his duck spirit lives on
No longer an evil one but one that’s full of fun

So raise your glass and give a cheer for party duck is here
For good times and fun shall be had whenever he is near

An Ode to the King of the Sea

In the sea there was a king and he was king of the sea
For many years he was content as content as can be

But then stuff started to happen that made him real sad
All this junk entered his kingdom and this junk was real bad

The land dwelling folks got more careless by the day
Dumping their garbage in an offhand kind of way

All this rubbish was killing the creatures of the deep
They were choking on garbage and entering the eternal sleep

So if you see some garbage while you’re down at the beach
Pick up at least three pieces and that would be sweet

The king of the sea will be well pleased with you
He’ll flash you a smile and also a shaka too

Spanner Beard Samson Original Painting

My online shop has heaps of rad stuff up there at the moment including very rare original paintings like this one of good ole Spanner Beard Samson whom I named in honour of my heaps strong nephew. Check it out here. The Story of  Spanner Beard Samson

Spanner Beard Samson was the strongest mechanic to ever live. He was so strong that he was constantly breaking his tools as he never really got a grip on the extent of his immense power. He was so sick of his tools breaking that he invented a new type of metal called Samsongold. It had the lustre of gold and the strength of 10 bulls. He made all of his own tools using this new hybrid metal. It was so strong that when he was working sometimes his spanners would go flying out of his hands and get lodged in his beard. The spanners stayed lodged there for his whole life because he could not get them out because his beard was the strongest part of his whole body and no scissors (not even Samsongold scissors) could cut it.

Out of all the marsupials kangaroos are the most talented flautists. This is something which I really wanted to highlight when illustrating my childrens picture book.

Regram from @elliemason8 who has so radically coloured in King Bling Bruce. Thanks for the photo Ellie!
Get yourself a signed Mulga’s Magical Colouring Book from my online shop (link in my profile) and I’ll also write you a little poem too.
An Ode to King Bling Bruce

They call him the crazy banana king
And old king Bruce sure loves the bling

He trades bananas for diamonds and jewels
Because in his mind it’s the bling that rules

His mindless pursuit of all that shines
Is leading towards some pretty hard times

For there will come a day for old king Bruce
When his jig is up and he’s cooked his goose

There’ll be no bananas left, only bling on his turf
And in the end, bling is of little worth

Pearl is going to learn to surf on this board and she wanted a rainbow on it. This is the rainbow. Rainbow’s are cool.

I drew Stubble Head Sully on my surfboard today. He is renowned for having one of the roundest heads in the Southern hemisphere and has never lost a round head competition that he has entered into.

He gets pretty excited at times and sometimes even tries to roll around on his head as if it is a ball. It really is a weird thing to see. If you want to see him in person he will be competing in the 2016 Sydney Round Head Competition on 15 March held at Bondi Beach. The End.

It’s Popsea’s birthday today and I drew him his name so he can put it on his boat. Happy birthday Popsea.

Another page I’m working on for my kids book. Some radical owls playing banjo’s. Those crazy owls. They love them banjo playing almost as much as they love rotating their heads and freaking everyone out.

The King of the Sea and myself sharing a precious moment.
Painted on the board of pro surfer @acebuchan, it will be on display at #take3brokendreams this Friday @wildthingsgallery to raise money and awareness for @take3forthesea
It is now up for silent auction on the @la_division site, follow the prompts. || @patagoniaaus || @coronaextra_au || @coastalwatch || @monsterchildren || @ausopenofsurf || @hurley || #ladivision || #mulgatheartist

His Wayne the Wolf canvas print arrived on hump day and made it an extra special hump day like it had sprinkles on it.
Checkout Wayne and heaps of other designs in canvas print form available from my online shop.
An Ode to Wayne the Wolf

There was this wolf and his name was Wayne
He had the most magical colours and none were the same

He liked to prance on the rainbow while howling at the sun
Because as we know prancing on rainbows is the best of fun
