An Ode to Gringo George

His name was George and he was the wandering kind
On his mule he went and where he went he didn’t mind

He hunted his dinner and cooked it good
He loved fresh meat and he loved his food

His mule’s name was Fernando and that’s no joke
And when he wanted him to move with his boot he’d poke

Fernando was old so he couldn’t’ run fast
But he was a trusty old thing and he sure could last

Why George was wandering he never told
Some speculated that he’d still be doing it even when he got old

The End
