An Ode to Anton the Aztec Goat

A goat called Anton rowed his boat
Every day around the castle in the moat

And in that boat he wore a coat
And its patterns were great, he was known to gloat

“In the Incas I obtained my patterned coat”
In his daily journal is what he wrote

The coat was payment made in full
For head-butting one rampaging bull

He butted the bull and it ran away
And he saved all the village folk on that day

But that was a long time in the past
And now he can’t even run that fast

His time is now spent as a goat in a boat
Paddling in a moat while wearing a coat

It might seem silly but it floats his boat
That Anton the Goat who’s known to gloat

Dracula Darrell (Prepare to Meet Thy Doom haha)

© Mulga 2012, Dracula Darrell (Prepare to Meet Thy Doom haha), Posca and acrylic paint on Paper, 30 x 40 cm

An Ode to Dracula Darrell

Dracula Darrell comes from a family
Of bloodsucking monsters ever so scary

He has the skill of shooting beams of energy
Outta his hands and into his enemy

These radiactive lasers, so mutant and deadly
Will vaporize anybody who appears unfriendly

A zap zap here and a zap zap there
My laser beams are gunna give you a scare

That’s what he sings when he’s zapping away
And his smile so deranged stays around all day

Diamond Head Knows All The Answers

© Mulga 2012, Diamond Head Knows All The Answers, Acrylic on Canvas,34 x 45 cm

This is Diamond Head and he knows all the answers.
He is kind of like the Key Master out of The Matrix although I never knew what Mr Key Master exactly did, he had a bunch of keys and they opened all kind of doors if I recall correctly. That is what Diamond Head is like except instead of doors he can open answers to any questions you may have.

This original “Diamond Head Knows All The Answers” painting is for sale for $150. Email me if you want it.

It would really brighten up your lounge room or dining room or bedroom or bathroom or kids room or games room or sitting room or rumpus room etc.

Here is a picture of me and the painting so you can see it in a real life setting.

As an added feature this painting has diamond shapes on the sides as shown in the picture below. This is a truly special feature and is worth the price of admission alone.

Let Them Try

© Mulga 2012, Let Them Try, Ink on Paper, 18 x 14 cm

His name is Bonzo
He is large and mean
His style is gonzo
He eats a mung bean

He lives in a cave
Dark and deep
Full of gold
He wishes to keep

He has regular visitors
To his place
Those thieves and bandits
All meet the mace

“Let them try”
He’s been known to say
And”Gives me some exercise”
“Make my day”

Boom, bash
Crash and boom
“Invade my cave
And meet thy doom!”

The End

Purple Dancing Ratus

He’s a rat
He aint to shy
He killed the cat
But lost his eye
Now he prances
On old cat’s grave
All night he dances
As if it’s a rave
He waves his hands
In the air
His tail is yellow
And purple is his hair
He’s a vengeful critter
An odd little freak
He eats the catty litter
And his breath does reak

Mutant Cowboy Zombie

The Tale of the Mutant Cowboy Zombie

After the heist on the bank
They shot old hank
Left him to die and stole his take
Only he didn’t die
He turned into a pie
The sun baked him good
Like only the sun could
His flavor was chicken and curry
But he was in no hurry
Got bit by some a freaky  wolves
Turned into a mutant with big hoofs
He galloped around
Then a flood came and he nearly drowned
But he gained the power of ten thousand suns
And set off to track down those bums
Those double crossing cowards
Weazly pickers of flowers
He found them in the saloon of a desert town
Drunk as skunks and acting the clown
They had looks of fear
When they saw his mutant lear
And his disfigurement ever so severe
His chicken curry skin glistened in the light
As he reached for his shooter with his hand on the right
His aim was perfect and shot them all three
With but one bullet that buzzed like a bee
After that he took a drink
And sat down for little think
What kind of life is this for a mutant freak
With a chicken curry face and hooves for feet
So he joined the circus and he was a success
The moral of the story is to be your freakiest best

Zombie with New York Yankee Baseball Cap

This is a zombie that I drew with artline pen and highlighter texters.
I wrote a poem to accompany the picture.

He’s got a hat
A New York Yankees hat
He wears it forward and not back
They called him the home run king
When he hit the ball he gave it real zing
But now he’s all washed up
Got busted for throwing a game for a coupla bucks
Now he spends his days on the streets
Selling hot dogs and similar meats
Although it might not appear the case
He’s doing well, he’s in some good head space
He’s in touch with his true self
He’s wearing his real face
He kicked the habit and the hangers on
Got some real friends who won’t do him wrong
He’s found himself, he’s been restored
He’s a zombie on the move forward

Zombie Getting Kicked in the Goonies

This is the first highlighter zombie I drew.
He doesn’t look to happy.
It looks like he just took a swift one to the goonies.
Poor zombie fella!
Here’s a poem about his predicament.

An ode to the goonie kicked zombie

Getting kicked in the goonies aint much fun
Even when your a zombie on the run
The pain can make a tough zombie cry
He’ll double over in pain and want to die
He knows that feeling because he’s the undead
Or maybe not if there’s no brains left in his head

See you next time.

Giant Land Turtle

I drew this turtle. He is flouro in colour. Did you know that turtles that live in colder climates hibernate for part of the year, the part that is really cold. I bet it would be hard getting to sleep if you were positioned next to this crazy coloured reptile down in a burrow under ground. This turtle is a giant land turtle and he lives in the warm parts of the world so he doesnt have to hibernate. He has no natural predators apart from himself. He could die by falling off a cliff or by getting stuck upside down in a crevice. Imagine walking along in the Galapagos Islands and you see this great big turtle stuck upside down in a crevice with his legs waving in the air. What a sight that would be to behold.

Mesmerize

Ink on paper.

I drew 19 animals.
Look into their eyes and be mesmerized.
Animals are cool to draw.
Can you name all the animals? You are better at animals than me if you can.
I don’t know what some of these animals are called, especially that one with two heads. I think that one is not even a real animal, but it is my favorite animal in this drawing. Which is your favourite?

Cosmic Egg Head Man

Here is my latest art for your viewing pleasure.

Here is a poem I wrote inspired by the Cosmic Egg Head Man:

The boundaries of the mind
Can translate to the face
Take care what you think
Everything finds its place

Here is another little poem:

The cold winds of space
Is where you’ll see the face
Of the cosmic egghead man
And his master race

Skull Mania

Hey hey

I drew a skull and then waved my wand and multiplied it in many beautiful colours and inversions
This is the resultant creation
Skulls are cool

Eyes are cool

I drew some creatures with many eyes to thee
What you do they shall see
There’s an eagle, a feline and a man as well
There is no fish or a dog or bell

Owl

This is a picture i painted of an owl. When Pearl sees it she says ‘toot toot’.
I wrote a poem from the perspective of the owl.

I’m an owl, in the darkness i prowl
I love to eat meat, that’s my kind of feast
When i grab some mice they usually die of fright
When i see a mouse that’s when i pounce
My eyes are lazy but my neck is crazy
It turns 270 degrees up in them trees
When i hang with my buddies people call us a study

The end

A group of owls is also called a parliament or a wisdom. I thought that was interesting but found it too hard to incorporate into the poem. If you can rhyme that little tidbit drop me a line and ill add it into the poem.
