Four Walls, Four Houses, One Epic Mural
This mural was a first in more ways than one for Mulga - his first ever school mural in Brisbane, and the first time he’s painted all four sides of a building!
Each of the four epic walls represents one of the school’s sports houses, brought to life with bold colours, unique themes, and custom flags:
-
Doherty - Koalas and kangaroos in warm red and orange tones
-
Burnet - Underwater vibes with blues, aquas, and pops of pink
-
Blackburn - Lizards and lush greens
-
Bragg - Phoenixes, Aussie birds, and fiery energy
Each wall took around three days to complete - and with no breaks, this mural now holds the record for Mulga’s longest stretch of straight painting: 13 days in a row, clocking up a whopping 125 hours!
A colourful and athletic celebration of school spirit, Aussie wildlife, and serious mural dedication.
