This was Mulga's last mural of 2023, Mulga was honoured to be invited to be the Artist in Residence for the 2023 Block Fest - Art Festival at Bathurst High School in Central NSW. Weatherwise this was a very challenging one for Mulga from burning sun to hectic thunderstorms and even hail, every season hit while Mulga painted this big big bear. Mulga put his scissor lift license to good use to complete this large mural in 5 days, and some say he may have painted the biggest bear in the southern hemisphere.
Mulga also presented his artist talk for the whole of Bathurst High School and he ran multiple student art workshops on 'How to draw a Gorilla'.
