From the Zoo to the Blockchain: The MulgaKongz Story

The Mulgakongz NFT collection not only celebrates Mulga's long standing fascination with gorillas but also his love for the summer season. It all began over a decade ago when he first encountered a gorilla at his local zoo, captivated by their power and quiet dignity, Mulga delved into capturing their essence in his art.

In 2012, Mulga showcased his talents by painting his first ever mural at the famous Bondi Beach, a funky gorilla enjoying an ice cream. Adidas quickly took notice, and MTV documented the creative process, foretelling Mulga's future collaborations with top-tier brands such as TikTok, BMW, Kelloggs, Uniqlo, and Casio to name a few.

Mulga has since crafted countless gorilla-themed murals and artworks and regularly teaches students in workshops how to paint these magnificent creatures. It's clear that gorillas are Mulga's spirit animal, and his passion for them shines through in his art. His love for these animals has been a constant source of inspiration for his artwork, predating the emergence of NFTs and the popularity of monkey NFTs.

Now, with the Mulgakongz NFT collection, Mulga's lifelong fascination with gorillas and his love for summer comes full circle. Long live the MulgaKongz!
