Once upon a time there lived Charles the chilli
He was a most serious fruit and not at all silly

He was the hottest chilli the world had seen
But no one would eat him as was his lifelong dream

So one day he devised a most ingenious plan
It involved a full moon and Alphonso the man

When the moon was sitting so high in the sky
Alphonso ate Charles and the spice made him cry

The moment he cried lightning struck his head
And chilli became man with a head so red

Half chilli half man was this new being
The most radical dude anyone has ever seen
