He grew up on the beach in the sun
Everyday surfing and loads of fun

A Cali boy with salt in his veins
He always carried around those sandy grains

When he grew up he sailed the sea
The wind in his hair and his spirits free

He'd stop his ship at tropical reef breaks
Surfing all day with his fellow shipmates

A salty sea dog that man is he
The guy we know as Captain Casey
