This was a super cool street art mural project for the Brisbane Street Art Festival (BSAF) 2023. Mulga was pretty chuffed to be invited to paint alongside a whole heap of talented street artists from all around the world. The BSAF is a city wide outdoor art festival in Brisbane, its aim is to revitalise some of Brisbane's most iconic locations with public art & its becoming one of the largest street art festivals in Australia. Mulga painted a large mural of his 2nd favourite animal, the magical pink porpoise, this mural required Mulga to use his scissor lift skills.
Here is the story of it:
The story of The Pacific Pink Porpoise Pod
Once, there was a pod of pink porpoises called the Pacific Pink Porpoise Pod. They cruised around the Pacific, having heaps good adventures and sometimes even rescuing humans in need of rescuing.
Like this one time, a dude crashed his boat into a humongous humpback whale, and his boat was smashed to smithereens. The dude was left floating around in the Pacific like a pimply piece of plastic.
Luckily, the Pacific Pink Porpoise Pod saw him and gave him a ride back to shore. They probably saved his life because he didn't even have an EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon). That's how much of a silly billy he was. Sheesh some people hey.
The End.
